K.M.M.A Freestyle Martial Arts Group is based in Manchester, Tameside, Denton and Oldham. We specialise in teaching people of all ages from children (6yrs) to adults.

Our highly experienced instructors have been taught to an exceptional level. All instructors are C.R.B. registered, first aid qualified and are black belt qualified as standard and above. All K.M.M.A. Instructors are still continuing their Martial Arts education to keep up to date with new and modern techniques.

We are both registered and affiliated with the W.K.O. (World Kickboxing Organization)

Karl McVety 6th Dan

Karl McVety is owner and head trainer of KMMA. With over thirty years experience in Martial Arts his expertise cover Kickboxing, Krav Maga, Muay Thai and Taekwondo.

As well as being the primary Kickboxing instructor Karl's current main focus is developing Krav Maga at the club. The class boasts a dynamic range of activity, from weapons training to defending group attacks.
 

Mukta Malik  McVety

Mukta McVety is co-owner of KMMA and along with Karl has helped develop the club since it's invention.

Mukta is instrumental at the ladies classes providing expert tuition and guidance for all levels. Gaining her 1st Dan Black Belt under KMMA Mukta is another home grown martial artist. Mukta provides group and one to one tuition to both adults and children.

The assistants / Junior instructors have been developed inhouse and some have been part of the academy over 10 years.

They are very much aligned to the values of  KMMA and understand the importance of individual learning needs .This attitude ensures they provide the best support and care to all members, children and adults, while ensuring the environment is safe , fun and welcoming for all.
